This is not my recipe. I found it on foodnetwork.com and it is Paula Deen’s from 2008; however, it is one of our favorites and I make it almost every week. I like to eat the fries plain, but my family cannot resist dipping them in ketchup. Try without ketchup first.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes or 4 small sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced in 1/4 inch wide strips.
- Olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon House Seasoning
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with enough oil to coat.
- Sprinkle with house seasoning and paprika.
- Spread potatoes in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake until sweet potatoes are tender and golden brown. I bake for 20 minutes, flip them, bake for an additional 10 minutes, and flip and bake for another 10 minutes, if necessary.
